Halle Berry has closed out her extended 60th birthday celebration, sharing playful moments from the milestone bash while thanking fans who had followed along.
Berry began marking the milestone publicly on Aug. 12 with a post on X: “60, here I come.”
The celebration itself brought another playful moment on Aug. 14, when she shared an image of a person holding a sign that read, “IT’S MY BIRTHDAY BITCHES,” with “#Halle60” and champagne emojis.
That same day, the actress appreciated her followers for the birthday wishes, expressing her love for her “Twitter family” while also acknowledging the public’s birthday messages and saying she was grateful to still be here.
The birthday celebration continued beyond the actual milestone.
the X-Men star repeatedly returned to the idea that it was still Leo season, joking on Aug. 15 that she was enjoying her life and that although her birthday had passed, the celebrations could continue. On Aug. 16, she marked the moment simply with “this is 60.”
Two days later, she was still embracing the festivities, again noting that it was Leo season.
the Oscar winner also celebrated with a birthday getaway at Zadun Los Cabos in Mexico, sharing photos and videos on Instagram on Sunday, Aug. 23, featuring moments of dancing, chatting and eating.
Reflecting on her experience at the resort, the icon thanked Zadun and Ritz-Carlton Reserve for making every moment of her 60th birthday memorable, describing some of the experiences as ones that would “stay with you forever.”
In her final post of the celebration on Aug. 23, Berry reflected on the milestone and the joy she found in extending the festivities well beyond her actual birthday. She acknowledged that she had celebrated for a “long ass” time, but noted that “you only turn 60 once.”
The screen icon said she wanted to close out Leo season by sharing some of the lighter, funnier moments from the celebration and thanked everyone who had followed along.
Berry encouraged her followers to find joy in everyday life, remain authentic, live openly, make time to laugh, appreciate the small things and hold on to love while continuing to share it whenever possible.
She then said goodbye to Leo season with a final message to fellow Leos: “keep shining bright ⭐️”
